Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to announce a virtual "informational session" for potential applicants to NIH F99/K00 Individual Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition Awards. This two-phase award provides support for late-stage graduate students pursuing research related to the mission areas of participating NIH Institutes, Centers, and Offices (ICOs) to facilitate the completion of doctoral dissertation projects and research training (F99 phase), and to successfully transition into postdoctoral biomedical research and career development opportunities (K00 phase).

Eligibility for the F99/K00: U.S. citizen or permanent resident, in year 3 or 4 of PhD training.

Please note that this informational session will focus on providing general information and answering general questions about the F99/K00 funding mechanism. Any questions regarding a specific funding opportunity or questions about an individual application should be directed to your NICHD program officer.
