Purpose

On November 28, 2022, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development issued Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PAR-23-037 - Multisite Clinical Research: Leveraging Network Infrastructure to Advance Research for Women, Children, Pregnant and Lactating Individuals, and Persons with Disabilities (U01 Clinical Trial Optional).

This Notice provides information regarding an upcoming pre-application webinar for the above-referenced FOA. The questions from this webinar will inform Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for the above-referenced FOA. These FAQs will be posted on the Pre-Application Process for NICHD Network Multisite Clinical Research website at the following link: https://www.nichd.nih.gov/health/clinical-research/clinical-trial-preapplication-process shortly after the webinar.


Webinar Information for PAR-23-037

The webinar will be hosted through Zoom. Participants must register in advance for the webinar through the following link, after which a link to join the webinar will be e-mailed to the participant: https://nih.zoomgov.com/webinar/register/WN_e4h9r2frT-GU5jtbDa4r1g.

The webinar on February 15, 2023 will:

  • Provide an overview of the PAR-23-037
  • Review the requisite pre-application process
  • Address questions from potential applicants
     

The planned webinar is optional. Attendance is not required to submit an application in response to the FOA. A recording of the webinar will be made available shortly after the webinar at: https://videocast.nih.gov/.

All prospective applicants are invited to attend the webinar and are strongly encouraged to send relevant questions prior to the webinar to maximize the use of time. Questions should be emailed to NICHD-Network-ClinicalResearch@nih.gov by February 8, 2022. These questions will be prioritized during the Q&A portion of the webinar. While an effort will be made to include all questions in the webinar, it is possible that not all questions will be addressed during the event due to time constraints.

Submitted questions and responses from the webinar and those received afterward will be posted at: https://www.nichd.nih.gov/health/clinical-research/clinical-trial-preapplication-process. Applicants are strongly encouraged to review the FAQs, which may be updated at any time without additional notice, prior to submitting their application.
