On November 1, 2022, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development will host a training webinar on Promoting Data Harmonization to Accelerate Pregnancy and Pediatrics Research on COVID-19 and Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 Infection (PASC).

The webinar on November 1, 2022 will review:
- The development of the Pregnancy and Pediatric Common Data Elements (CDEs) for COVID-19 and PASC
- How to access the CDEs via the Disaster Research Response (DR2) Resources Portal website and the REDCap Central Library
The webinar will include:
- A live demonstration of how to access the CDEs on the DR2 platform and the REDCap Central Library
- Q & A period with:
- Representatives of the Pregnancy and Pediatric COVID-19/PASC CDE Working Groups
- DR2 experts
All prospective applicants and researchers interested in using these CDEs in their work are invited to attend the webinar. Investigators applying to the following Notices of Special Interest (NOSIs), NOT-HD-22-002 and NOT-HD-22-003, related to COVID and Pregnancy and/or Pediatrics are strongly encouraged to utilize the COVID-19 CDEs available via the DR2 Resource Portal in their data collection. Applicants choosing not to include these CDEs in their projects for these NOSIs will be required to provide a clear rationale for their choice not to do so, and an explanation of what data elements will be used instead. The webinar is optional and participation is not required to submit an application for funding consideration.
