Section I. Funding Opportunity Description
Research Scope
The FOA currently reads:
The scope of this FOA is restricted to the study of couples who have experienced unexplained pregnancy loss due to: 1) fetal anomalies not associated with known aneuploidy, and/or 2) recurrent pregnancy loss (defined as 2 or more pregnancy losses) not related to well-defined causes of pregnancy loss such as fetal aneuploidy, parental chromosome translocation, immunologic or thrombophilic disorders, or uterine anomalies. The recruitment of diverse populations is strongly encouraged.
This section of the FOA is modified to read:
The scope of this FOA is restricted to the study of couples who have experienced: 1) pregnancy loss at >20 weeks with or without fetal anomalies, and/or 2) recurrent pregnancy loss (defined as 2 or more pregnancy losses). The losses should not be related to well-defined causes of pregnancy loss or preterm delivery such as fetal aneuploidy, parental chromosome translocation, immunologic or thrombophilic disorders, uterine anomalies, abruption, pre-eclampsia, infection, etc.
All other aspects of RFA-HD-21-005 remain unchanged.
