Purpose

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) announces the early termination of PAR-15-072, "Limited Competition: Addressing Health Disparities in Maternal and Child Health through Community-Based Participatory Research (R03)", effective immediately. NICHD will not accept applications in response to PAR-15-072 for the November 21, 2016 submission date. NICHD is in the process of identifying priority health disparities within its mission and will use this information to inform future funding opportunities.

This Notice does not affect applications in response to PAR-15-072 that have already been reviewed. Applications reviewed for FY 2016 funding will be selected for funding using the usual NICHD procedures. For grants that already have been awarded, NICHD plans to continue support for non-competing awards in future years.
