Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify the language of the funding opportunity announcement (FOA) Global Network for Women’s and Children’s Health Research, RFA-HD-13-006.

For the purposes of this announcement, all language that reads “low income countries, developing world countries, and resource poor settings" refers to countries of low income and lower- middle income as classified by the World Bank http://data.worldbank.org/about/country-classifications/country-and-lending-groups that are located in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Latin America.

Section III. Eligibility Information

This section has been changed as follows:

Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are allowed.

All other aspects of this FOA remain unchanged.
