This Notice is to inform potential applicants that the NICHD announces its participation, effective immediately, in RFA-AI-11-036, Strategies for the Protection of Pregnant Women and Infants Against Infectious Diseases (R01).

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Number: 93.865

The Components of Participating Organizations section of RFA-AI-11-036 has been revised to include NICHD:

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)
Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)

NICHD intends to fund up to an estimated eight awards, corresponding to a total of $500,000, for fiscal year 2012. Future year amounts will depend on annual appropriations.

All other aspects of this FOA remain unchanged.
