Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify the scoring procedures for applications submitted to PAR-17-094 "Maximizing Investigators' Research Award (R35)". Similar to issuances of previous FOAs for the Maximizing Investigators' Research Award, reviewers will consider each of the review criteria in the determination of scientific merit but will not give a separate score for each. Accordingly, the following section of the FOA has been updated as indicated below.
