Update to Institutional Partnership Limits for Bridges Awards (PAR-07-411 and PAR-07-410)

The purpose of this notice is to announce an update to the institutional partnership limits for the Bridges to the Baccalaureate (PAR-07-411) and Bridges to the Doctorate (PAR-07-410) programs. Effective for the September 18, 2007 application submission/receipt date, an eligible applicant or partner institution may participate in more than one Bridges to the Baccalaureate/Bridges to the Doctorate partnerships if strongly justified by the potential to magnify the programs’ and institution’s outcomes. The applicant institution must clearly describe the value added of an institution partnering with more than one Bridges to the Baccalaureate or Bridges to the Doctorate partnerships and provide evidence of a large pool of eligible students who would benefit from multiple partnerships and/or the institution’s track record of enrolling and graduating targeted students with baccalaureate or Ph.D. degree (as applicable) in biomedical/behavioral sciences. All other eligibility criteria remain unchanged.
