Purpose

The purpose of this Notice of Change is to update Eligiblility Information under Eligibile Organizations under RFA-FD-22-010; "Revision Applications - Development and Maintenance of the Animal Feed Regulatory Program Standards Flexible Funding Model Compliance and Enforcement Expansion Supplement (U18) Clinical Trials Not Allowed".

Below is the updated information regarding eligibility for this announcement:

This opportunity is only available to State, Tribal or Territorial feed/animal food safety programs which meet the following criteria:


- Currently holds an award or has an application pending under PAR-20-132 "Development and Maintenance of the Animal Feed Regulatory Program Standards with Optional Coordinated Preventive Control Regulatory Activities and Capacity Building (U18)" and is satisfactorily meeting the conditions of the award. If an application is pending under PAR-20-132, an award under RFA-FD-22-010 will only be issued if an award is made under PAR-20-132; and

-Currently is conducting animal food inspections under contract with the FDA and maintains an animal food compliance inspection contract in good standing for the duration of the award project period; and


- Collaborates with one or more animal food testing laboratories currently holding an award under PAR-20-105 "Laboratory Flexible Funding Model (LFFM) and participating in the Feed/Animal Food Product Testing Track(s) - Micro or Chem" with the LFFM lab in the same state as the FFM CAP program.


-Applicants must hold an information sharing agreement with the FDA under 21 CFR 20.88 or be able to obtain an agreement prior to the start date of the award.
