Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to inform potential K12 applicants of the NEI's change in candidate eligibility requirements.

The following changes (shown in italics) have been made to PAR-18-726:

3. Additional Information on Eligibility

Scholars

Scholars to be supported by the institutional career development program must be at the career level for which the planned program is intended. Scholars are expected to devote a minimum of 9 person-months (75% of full-time professional effort) during the appointment on the K12 award. Scholars who are ophthalmic surgeons are expected to devote a minimum of 6 person-months (at least 50% of full-time professional effort) during their appointment to the award.

All other aspects of this Funding Opportunity Announcement remain the same.
