This Notice is to indicate NEI’s participation in Program Announcement PA-06-418 (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-06-418.html).

NEI is interested in applications which rigorously address clinical and mechanistic research questions in all areas of vision research, using multi-disciplinary approaches that extend beyond the traditional biological and clinical sciences.  Bioengineering approaches that will integrate principles and techniques from engineering, physics, biology, chemistry, material sciences, mathematics, biostatistics, and/or computer sciences are particularly encouraged.
