National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS)
Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number(s)

Funding Opportunity Purpose
NIEHS is interested in genomic community resources that focus on environmental health sciences.
Part 2. Section I. Funding Opportunity Description
NIEHS is interested in supporting genormic resources that focus on environmental health sciences, particularly model organism databases or supporting data types for studies that enable, integrate, and allow broad use of gene-environment interaction exploration with populations having environmental chemical or toxicant data. Genomic data resources supporting population-based model organisms, the further development of innovative computational toolsets, or cooperative activities associated with cross-species analyses that inform gene-environment interactions would be particularly welcome. Applications without a significant genomics component are non-responsive.
