The purpose of this notice is to clarify the appropriate biological agents applicable to NOT-ES-13-003.
Currently States:
The potential for exposures to biological and chemical hazards and its effects on physical and mental health for responders and residents could be substantial
Applications that focus on animal studies should not be submitted to this FOA.
Change to State:
The potential for exposures to biological (such as mold) and chemical hazards and their effects on physical and mental health for responders and residents could be substantial
Applications that propose to study exposure to pathogens or focus on animal studies should not be submitted in response to this FOA.
All other aspects of NOT-ES-13-003 remain the same.
