This notice provides clarification about the budget submission and page length requirements for the Bioengineering Research Partnership announcement, PAR-07-352, issued on 4/6/2007 (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-07-352.html).

In Section IV.2, SPECIAL BRP REQUIREMENTS, part 3. BRP Budget Items, should read, “Include a single budget for all BRP participants, with allocations to all partners at non-grantee institutions shown as subcontract/consortium arrangements.  It is understood that this is an initial budget, and that the partnership has the authority, according to procedures to be laid out in the “Leadership Plan,” to reallocate funds during the project to accomplish the BRP goals.”

In Section IV.6, under “PHS398 Research Plan Component Sections,” the first sentence should state that “Items 2-5 of the PHS398 Research Plan component are limited to 40 pages.”
