Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants that the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolic Diseases (DEM) at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) will hold a pre-application webinar for those interested in learning more about RFA-DK-22-018 Human Islet Research Network (HIRN) Pancreas Knowledgebase Program (PanKbase) (U24 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed).

Pre-Application Webinar for RFA-DK-22-018 – “Human Islet Research Network (HIRN) Pancreas Knowledgebase Program (PankKbase) (U24 – Clinical Trail Not Allowed)”

Please note that pre-registration is required to attend the webinar. The webinar link will be sent to registered attendees.

Purpose: NIDDK/DEM staff will provide programmatic information about the FOAs and the application review process, as well as answer questions from prospective applicants. The attendees will also be given an opportunity to interact with each other and to explore potential collaborations in application.  The webinars are open to all prospective applicants, although participation in the webinar is not required to submit an application.

Prospective applicants are highly encouraged to submit their questions regarding the FOA in advance of the webinar to GrantsInfo@nih.gov by 11:59 p.m. local time on Nov. 28, 2022. Time permitting, participants will also be able to ask questions during the webinar.

Following the webinar, the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document located on the meeting registration website will be updated to incorporate questions posed during webinar. This document may subsequently be updated without additional notice.
