Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform the extramural community of the cancellation of RFA-DK-22-005, Advancing Research on Mechanisms and Management of Pain for Diseases and Conditions within NIDDK Mission Areas (R01 Clinical Trial Optional). The application due date is cancelled and applications will not be received for the May 17, 2022 application due date.

Applicants with research interests relevant to this topic and within NIDDK's mission areas are encouraged to submit an application through the NIH Parent R01 Announcements [PA-20-185, NIH Research Project Grant (Parent R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed) and PA-20-183, Research Project Grant (Parent R01 Clinical Trial Required)] whose next application due date is on June 5, 2022.
