Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform the applicant community of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) of a change in areas of interest that are relevant to PA-20-142, Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Research Training Grant (Parent T32).
 

Applications in response to PA-20-142 that propose training programs in Nutrition Sciences must support trainees performing NIDDK mission-related nutrition research. See the NIDDK Strategic Plan for Research for further information on the mission and priorities. Mission-related research areas include Diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Metabolic Disorders, and Endocrine Disorders), Digestive Diseases (Gastrointestinal Diseases, Liver and Pancreatic Diseases, Obesity, Nutrition, and related diseases), and Kidney Diseases (Kidney Diseases, Urologic Diseases, and Hematologic Diseases).
