Purpose

The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) will host a pre-application webinar on November 9, 2020 from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) for the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-DK-20-021 “Mechanistic Studies of the Interaction between SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 and Diseases and Organ Systems of Interest to NIDDK (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)” for those interested in learning more about the FOA. The webinar is open to all prospective applicants, although participation in the webinar is not required to submit an application to RFA-DK-20-021.

NIDDK staff members involved in the FOA will provide a brief overview of RFA-DK-20-021 for potential applicants by explaining the goals and objectives for the FOA, as well as answering questions from webinar attendees.
