Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to correct the criteria for individuals with presumed CKDu as shown in the Background of Part 2, Section 1. Funding Opportunity Description section. The specific description of the urinalysis, in particular the hematuria and proteinuria levels, are corrected.

For the purposes of this consortium, individuals with presumed CKDu are defined as:

• Participants age 18-45 years

• Serum creatinine concentration >1.2 mg/dl (females) or >1.5 mg/dl (males)

• Urinalysis = 2+ protein, = 1+ hematuria

• Residing in a CKDu-endemic community or region

Revised to read:
