Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to add the U24 activity code to the activity codes eligible for submissions and adjust the language for parent awards to be eligible under NOT-DK-20-018: Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Availability of Urgent Competitive Revision Supplements on Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) within the Mission of NIDDK.

The third and fifth paragraphs under the Application and Submission Information section of NOT-DK-20-018 currently read:

The NIDDK will only accept applications in response to this Notice for the following activity codes: R01, RC2, P01, U2C, UH3, U01, P50, U54, R41, R42, R43, and R44.

To be eligible for this Notice, the parent award to which the revision application is based must:

  • Be an active NIDDK award that is not in an extension period at the time the revision is awarded, and
  • Have enough time left in the award to complete the studies proposed after the revision has been awarded


This NOSI is modified to read (with the U24 activity code added):

The NIDDK will only accept applications in response to this Notice for the following activity codes: R01, RC2, P01, U2C, UH3, U01, U24, P50, U54, R41, R42, R43, and R44.

To be eligible for this Notice: The parent award must be active when the supplement/revision application is submitted (e.g. within the originally reviewed and approved project period), regardless of the time remaining on the current project.

All other aspects of NOT-DK-20-018 remain unchanged.
