Purpose

The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) announce the early termination of PAR 12-173, "Planning Grants for Translational Research to Improve Obesity and Diabetes Outcomes (R34)". For the November 1, 2013 application due date, new and resubmitted applications will be accepted. For the March 3, 2014 application due date, only resubmitted applications are allowed. PAR 12-173 will be terminated as of March 4, 2014. Consequently, the following sections of PAR-12-173 are being modified as follows:
