The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) announces that there is additional information at https://www.niddkrepository.org/niddk/jsp/public/sampleInfo.jsp about biological samples from clinical studies that are available from the NIDDK Repository.

Applicants proposing the use of NIDDK Repository samples in their applications do not need to apply separately to the NIDDK Repository for access to samples.  Funded applications will be automatically approved for access without further scientific review.

However, applicants must document in their applications that the samples proposed for analysis are actually available in the quantity required.  Consultation with Repository staff may be appropriate.
