ADDENDUM: TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH FOR THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF DIABETES (PA-01-069) Release Date: April 2, 2001 NOTICE: NOT-DK-01-012 National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases National Eye Institute National Institute of Nursing Research American Diabetes Association The purpose of this Notice is twofold. First, potential applicants are notified that the first application receipt date for this Program Announcement (PA) has been moved from June 1, 2001 to July 2, 2001. After July 2, 2001, grant applications will be accepted on the standard application deadlines as indicated in the application kit. Second, as stated in the REVIEW CONSIDERATIONS section of the PA, all applications submitted in response to this PA will assigned to the relevant Institute on the basis of established Public Health Service referral guidelines. This NOTICE clarifies that each individual Institute will then convene an appropriate peer review group to evaluate the applications for scientific and technical merit, in accordance with the review criteria stated in the PA.
