National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases

The National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 
Acquisition Management Branch, is issuing this revised announcement 
of the RFP,  Urologic Diseases in America,  due to a change in the 
RFP Number, the date for submission of proposals, and a change in 
the name of the Contract Specialist responsible for this 
acquisition.  All organizations who have received a copy of the RFP 
will automatically receive a copy of the RFP Amendment.

  	The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases 
(NIDDK) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is seeking an 
organization or an institution to compile a compendium delineating 
the changes in the epidemiology, health economic impact, and 
practice patterns for each of the diseases currently included within 
the scope of practice of the specialty of urology, and analyzed 
retrospectively over a ten year period.  The compendium, which is 
identified for the purposes of this document as  Urologic Diseases 
in America  (UDA), will consist of data tables and analyses as well 
as narrative descriptive chapters that amplify the data analyses.  
This Request for Proposals, RFP No. NIH-NIDDK-00-05, was issued on 
July 5, 2000, and has a closing date of November 15, 2000.  Please 
note, that this is an extension from the original submission date of 
October 4, 2000, announced earlier.  To receive a copy of this RFP, 
please supply this office with two self-addressed mailing labels and 
cite the RFP number referenced above.  Requests must be made in
