Purpose

This Notice is to inform the research community that the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research intends to reissue the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PAR-19-145 “NIDCR Small Research Grants for Oral Health Data Analysis and Statistical Methodology Development (R03 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)".

This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects.

The FOA is expected to be published in Spring 2022 with an expected application due date in late Spring 2022.

This FOA will utilize the R03 activity code. Details of the planned FOA are provided below.

Research Initiative Details

The goal of this funding opportunity announcement is to support meritorious research projects that involve secondary data analyses of existing oral or craniofacial database resources, or that develop needed statistical methodology for analyzing existing dental, oral or craniofacial databases.
