Effective immediately, the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) will participate in the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards for Individual Predoctoral Fellows (F31), PA-07-002 (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-07-002.html).

NIDCR is committed to training new investigators and extending science by integrating the biological and behavioral sciences in oral health.  The Institute seeks to build a strong cadre of scientists who can successfully address questions in dental, oral, and craniofacial science.

NIDCR will support students who have identified a dissertation project, and an appropriate dissertation director, in an area of research supported by the Institute, as described in the Institute’s Strategic Plan http://www.nidcr.nih.gov/Research/ResearchPriorities/StrategicPlan/.
