Key Dates
Release Date: October 17, 2007

Issued by
National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), (http://www.nidcr.nih.gov/)

The purpose of this Notice is to inform the research community of a correction to the instructions for submitting appendix material for NIDCR RFA DE-08-008. As stated in the FOA, http://grants1.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-DE-08-008.html, appendix material is allowed for the following components of the Overall Center application: the RPAC, each R01 research project, and the S&DCC (e.g., if two research projects are submitted, a total of 4 appendices may be submitted).

Do not assemble the application package as stated in the FOA, i.e., do not inter-mingle Appendix material with the components of the application. To assemble the application package for submission: each Appendix should have a coversheet identifying 1) the relevant component, 2) the PI (s), and 3) the items included in the Appendix. Appendix materials can be submitted either on a CD in PDF format or as paper copies. When submitting paper, five collated sets of all Appendix material must be submitted altogether with the two copies of the Center application that are sent to NIDCR (see below).

The material must conform to the PHS 398 grant application instructions http://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/phs398/phs398.pdf . Publications that are publicly accessible must not be included in the appendix. There is a limit of 3 publications that are not publicly available.

Submit a signed, typewritten original of the application, including the checklist, and three signed photocopies (no appendix material) in one package to:
