CLARIFICATION OF PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENTS PAR-03-042 AND PAR-03-043

National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR)
 (http://www.nidcr.nih.gov) 

Effective with the publication of this Notice, applications submitted 
in response to NIDCR Clinical Trial Planning Grant (PAR-03-042)
or NIDCR Clinical Pilot Data Grant (PAR-03-043) that propose to conduct 
small pilot clinical trials will not be accepted by the NIDCR as responsive 
to these Program Announcements. Applications that propose small pilot clinical 
trials in response to these Program Announcements will be returned to the 
applicant without undergoing peer review.

The NIDCR will continue to accept applications that are responsive to 
these Program Announcements as published in the NIH Guide on December 
4, 2002, at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-03-042.html 
and http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-03-043.html.
