National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD)

This Notice announces that the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) is expiring three Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) that encourage Clinical Trial grant applications.  These three FOAs are being terminated effective immediately because NIDCD has converted its Clinical Trials program over to the use of Cooperative Agreement support mechanisms and published new FOAs for that purpose on March 16, 2012.

FOAs expired include:

PAR-08-205  NIDCD Phase III Definitive Clinical Trials in Communication Disorders (R01)

PAR-09-142  NIDCD Definitive Phase III Clinical Trial Planning Grant (R34)

PAR-11-290  NIDCD Phase I/II Preliminary Clinical Trials in Communication Disorders (R01)

New FOAs published (3-16-2012) include:

PAR-12-123  NIDCD Phase I/II/III Clinical Trials in Communication Disorders (U01)

PAR-12-124  NIDCD Planning Grant for Phase III Clinical Trials in Communication Disorders (U34)
