The NIDCD announces that it has updated its guidelines for the Clinical Research Center Grant (P50). These guidelines supersede all prior guidelines for the NIDCD Multiple Project Center/Program Project/Clinical Center Grants (P50). These guidelines go into effect for the May 25, 2008 application deadline.

A Clinical Research Center Grants (P50) supports a research program in which a team of investigators works on a clearly defined central theme of mutual scientific interest. The NIDCD P50 is used solely for Clinical Research which is defined as research involving individuals with communication disorders or data/tissues from individuals with a communication disorder. Application is made using the Guidelines for NIDCD Clinical Research Center Grant (P50) from the NIDCD website: http://www.nidcd.nih.gov/funding/types/p50/
