Purpose

This notice is to indicate that $1.25 million in additional funds has been made available for fiscal year 2020 for PAS-18-625, " Mechanistic investigations of psychosocial stress effects on opioid use patterns (R21- Clinical Trial Optional)".

Part 2. Section II. Award Information

Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards

Current language:
NIH intends to fund an estimate of 3-5 awards, corresponding to a total of $2 million dollars, for fiscal year 2019.

OBSSR intends to commit $500,000 in FY 2019 to fund 1-2 awards.

New language:
NIH (including NIDA and OBSSR) intends to fund an estimate of 2-3 awards, corresponding to a total of $1.25 million dollars, for fiscal year 2020.

All other aspects of this FOA remain the same.
