Purpose
The following correction to PAR-13-084 "NIDA Research Education Program for Clinical Researchers and Clinicians (R25)" is being made:

3. Additional Information on Eligibility
The sentence below concerning Participants has been removed:
“Unless strongly justified on the basis of exceptional relevance to NIH, research education programs should be used primarily for the education of U.S. citizens.”
As stated in the FOA, the NIDA Research Education Program for Clinical Researchers and Clinicians welcomes applications from foreign institutions and foreign components of US-based institutions, and encourages applicants to proactively include efforts to recruit foreign trainees, particularly from low and middle-income countries as well as from countries and regions experiencing new and/or serious drug use epidemics.
All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
