Clarification of Data Tables for the NIDA Mentored Clinical Scientists Development Program Award in Drug Abuse and Addiction (K12), PAR-10-177

Notice Number: NOT-DA-11-004

Key Dates

Release Date: January 7, 2011

Issued by

National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)

Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify the use of T32 Data Tables for applications in response to the NIDA Mentored Clinical Scientists Development Program Award in Drug Abuse and Addiction (K12), PAR-10-177.

Background

Although this FOA does not require that the T32 Data Tables be included in the K12 application, the FOA refers applicants to the SF424 instructions, which then direct applicants to the T32 Data Tables and associated set of instructions. Furthermore, these SF424 instructions allow for uploading of these Data Tables in a section of the application that is not included within the 25 page limit. This has caused some confusion regarding whether these data tables are required, and creates the potential for inconsistently formatted applications.

Clarification

These T32 Data Tables are not required for these K12 applications, and any data tables included in the application must be included within the section that is limited to 25 pages.
