This Notice requests that investigators planning to submit
an application in response to RFA -DA-11-001, “Seek, Test, Treat and Retain:
Addressing HIV among Vulnerable Populations” (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-DA-11-001.html),
modify their budget requests to include funds to attend an annual meeting in
Washington, D.C. The National Institute on Drug Abuse and National Institute
of Mental Health encourage data harmonization to increase comparability,
collaboration, and scientific yield of research funded under this FOA. Awardees funded
under RFA- DA-11-001, “Seek, Test, Treat and Retain: Addressing HIV among
Vulnerable Populations”, will be expected to participate in collaborative
activities, including annual meetings to determine how to best to harmonize data.
