Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify language regarding the proper formatting of the PD/PI biosketch found in Section IV.6. Other Submission Requirements of the Pre-Application for the 2010 NIDA Avant-Garde Award Program for HIV/AIDS Research (X02), PAR-10-068 (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-10-068.html) and the 2010 NIDA Avant-Garde Award Program for HIV/AIDS Research (DP1), RFA-DA-10-012 (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-DA-10-012.html).

Specifically,

The biosketch should contain Section A (Personal Statement), Section B (Positions and Honors), and Section C (Peer-reviewed publications or manuscripts in press (in chronological order)).
The biosketch should not contain Section D (Research Support).
The biosketch is limited to two pages in length.

Other sections of the FOAs remain unchanged.
