Notice Number: NOT-DA-10-008
Key Dates
Release Date: February 2, 2010
Issued by
National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), (http://www.nida.nih.gov)
Purpose
The purpose of this Notice is to inform the scientific community that the NIDA Mentored Clinical Scientists Development Program Award in Drug Abuse and Addiction (K12), PAR-07-346 (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-07-346.html), will be expired as of the issuance of this Notice.
Institutional career development award programs using the K12 mechanism were converted to electronic application submission (SF424), effective January 25, 2010. Since PAR-07-346 allows only for the submission of paper applications, applications can no longer be submitted under this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).
NIDA is dedicated to the research training and career development of clinician researchers in the area of substance abuse, and will continue to support the K12 program. A new K12-FOA that is compliant with SF424 will be released in February or March of 2010 for the June 12, 2010 receipt date.
Potential applicants who were interested in submitting a K12 application to NIDA for the February 12, 2010 receipt date are asked to contact a NIDA program official to discuss plans for submission for the June 12, 2010 receipt date.
