PURPOSE

The purpose of this notice is to alert the scientific community of a 
change to the Social Work Research Development Program 
(http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-00-008.html) program 
announcement (PAR-00-008) published in the NIH Guide for Contracts and 
Grants on November 2, 1999.

Effective immediately, for applications submitted in response to the 
PAR, applications up to $300,000 in direct costs per year must be 
submitted in a modular budget format.
