PURPOSE

The purpose of the notice is to alert the scientific community to a change to 
the Cutting-Edge Basic Research Award (CEBRA) program announcement (PAR-01-
047) published in the NIH Guide for Contracts and Grants on February 6, 2001.  
The following change is effective immediately.

Amended R21 applications for CEBRA will not be accepted.  Unfunded applicants 
should contact Susan Volman (see below) about another grant mechanism for 
subsequent submissions.
