Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Cancer Institute (NCI) will hold a pre-application webinar on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (EDT) for the Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) RFA-CA-23-036 entitled “Mechanisms of Fusion-Driven Oncogenesis in Childhood Cancers (U01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)” and RFA-CA-23-037 entitled “Next Generation Chemistry Centers for Fusion Oncoproteins (UM1 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)”.

NCI staff members involved in these NOFOs will provide orientation and programmatic guidance to potential applicants by explaining the goals and objectives of these funding opportunities and answering questions from attendees. Potential applicants are encouraged to submit their questions by August 9 to pedfusiononcoprotein@mail.nih.gov. Slides or a recording will be available on the Division of Cancer Biology web page and Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis webpage two days following the completion of the webinar.
