Purpose

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) will hold a pre-application webinar on November 8, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Eastern Time, for the Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs), RFA-CA-22-042, “Advancing Adolescent Tobacco Cessation Intervention Research (R34 Clinical Trial Optional)” and RFA-CA-22-043, “Advancing Adolescent Tobacco Cessation Intervention Research (R01 Clinical Trial Required).”

NCI and NIDA staff will provide an overview of the FOAs, including goals and objectives, application instructions, and review criteria, and will be available to answer questions.

Potential applicants are encouraged to submit their questions in advance of the webinar to ncidccpsbrpadvances@mail.nih.gov by November 4, 2022.

Note: Questions about the scope of the FOAs will be addressed during the webinar; however, questions about investigators’ specific study aims will not be addressed in the webinar.
