Purpose

This Notice modifies award budget instructions in PA-17-138 "Administrative Supplements to Promote Research Collaborations on Fusion Oncoproteins as Drivers of Childhood Cancer (Admin Supp)" in order to provide clarity to applicants.

Currently reads:
Application budgets are limited to no more than $135,000 Direct Costs per year, regardless of the number of collaborating units. This is exclusive of consortium costs and must reflect the actual needs of the proposed project.

Modified to read (in italics):
Application budgets are limited to no more than $135,000 Direct Costs per year, regardless of the number of collaborating units. This is exclusive of consortium/contractual Facilities and Administrative (F&A) costs and must reflect the actual needs of the proposed project. PD/PI and collaborator salaries support is not permitted. Support for associates, trainees, or fellows from either laboratory is permitted.
