The NCI will hold a pre-application meeting for Request for Applications (RFA) for the Clinical Proteomic Technologies for Cancer Initiative (CPTC): Proteome Characterization Centers (RFA-CA-10-016). All prospective applicants are invited to attend this meeting. This meeting will take place at the Natcher Conference Center (Building 45), Conference Room D, on the main campus of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on August 10, 2010.
The meeting is intended to be informative to prospective applicants considering responding to RFA-CA-10-016. NCI Program Staff and other NCI representatives will provide an overview of the CPTC program and will explain specific aspects of the RFA. A short presentation will be followed by a question and answers session.

This meeting is open to the public and will be available via web cast at http://videocast.nih.gov. An archived recording of the web cast will be available after the meeting at http://videocast.nih.gov/pastevents.asp.
Participation in the meeting, although encouraged, is optional and not required for application submission. Please be advised that the NCI does not cover your expenses to attend this meeting.
