Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform the extramural community that PAR-06-511 , National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cancer Education and Career Development Program (R25), expires on January 8, 2010.  Therefore, no applications should be submitted or will be accepted for the  January 25, 2010, receipt date deadline.

A new Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to replace PAR-06-511 is expected to be published in time for the May 25, 2010, receipt date deadline.  The new FOA will include changes in the NCI Cancer Training Branch’s programmatic requirements and the NIH Enhanced Peer Review effort.
