Purpose

This Notice is to inform applicants that the National Cancer Institute (NCI) has joined the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) to participate in funding opportunity announcement RFA-NR-09-002, entitled “Centers of Excellence in Symptom Management or Centers of Excellence in Health Promotion/Disease Prevention (P30).”  Meritorious grant applications that are relevant to the mission and goals of the NCI will be considered individually and will compete for funding from the NCI via the exceptions process.
