for competing supplemental applications from NCI-funded Small Animal
Imaging Resource Programs (SAIRPs). This supplemental initiative is
intended to assist the five originally funded SAIRPs in creating
training capabilities in small animal imaging. The initiative is part

animal imaging techniques and to strengthen the use of small animal
imaging techniques in cancer research. NCI-funded SAIRPs possess the
infrastructure, organization, leadership, and integrated
multidisciplinary research objectives that enable them to build and
incorporate new training programs in small animal imaging.

The application receipt date for this limited competition is October 25,
2001. NCI staff will contact the current grantees directly regarding
