With the advent of electronic submission of individual Postdoctoral fellowship (F32)  applications, applicants applying to NCCAM for a Postdoctoral fellowship (F32) will no longer use  PAR-07-319 Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards for Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship Training in Complementary and Alternative Medicine (F31), but the F32 NIH parent announcement PA-09-210 Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards for Individual Postdoctoral Fellows (F32) (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-09-210.html)

NCCAM utilizes the F32 grant mechanism to support outstanding postdoctoral candidates who are engaged in rigorous research and study to carry out the Nation's biomedical, behavioral and clinical research agendas in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Applicants for this fellowship award are STRONGLY encouraged to contact a NCCAM Program Officer before they begin to prepare their application, as NCCAM will consider only those applications that are designed to support the training and development of scientists with interests relevant to the mission of NCCAM.
