This notice is to inform applicants that National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) is participating, effective immediately, in NOT-MD-22-006, "Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Research to Address Vaccine Hesitancy, Uptake, and Implementation among Populations that Experience Health Disparities." NIAMS is interested in applications that concern the uptake of vaccination, especially for SARS-CoV-2, among populations that experience health disparities and are patients with NIAMS core mission diseases (arthritis, musculoskeletal, and skin disorders).
Please note that NIAMS will support non-mechanistic clinical trials designed to improve vaccine uptake under NOT-MD-22-006 via Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PA-20-183. This is a single exception to our previously announced guidance in NOT-AR-21-009.
