Purpose

This is a notice of clarification that the National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal, and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) will support non-mechanistic clinical trials designed to improve vaccine uptake under NOT-MD-21-008 via Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PA-20-183. This is a single exception to our previously announced guidance in NOT-AR-21-009.
