Purpose
The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) will participate, effective immediately, in PA-18-837" Administrative Supplements to Promote Diversity in Research and Development Small Businesses-SBIR/STTR (Admin Supp Clinical Trial Not Allowed)."

NIAMS supports diversity supplements to NIAMS Phase II SBIR/STTR grants at all career levels. At the time of supplement application, the parent grant must have a reasonable period of time remaining (greater than one year) to support an optimal career development experience for the candidate. NIAMS does not award diversity supplements to grants in a no-cost-extension.
